Wei Shi
Wei Shi is a sodium hypochlorite production box designed for home use. The box has a capacity of two liters and produces germicidal water from ordinary salt and tap water. Salt and water are added in proportion, and electrolysis forms the solution in about ten minutes. An indicator light on the side of the box shows the working status. The solution can be used inside the box or poured into other containers. A double layer hollow drain hole empties the box quickly, and chlorine gas is released along a breathable edge for safety.
Wei Shi Sodium Hypochlorite Box by BH design has been highlighted as an exceptional example of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. Wei Shi Sodium Hypochlorite Box received the Iron A' Design Award in Home Appliances Design in 2021. The A' Home Appliances Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design competition which rewards superior design of refrigerators, dishwashers, microwaves, washing machines, dryers, ovens, vacuum cleaners, air conditioners and more.
